1508 in the media – 2016 update

16. 12. 16   :

This year we were delighted to have appeared in a number of national and international media titles both in the UK and abroad.

A successful start to the year saw Project Pearl feature in London’s Metro setting the precedent for the year. Our Belgravia refurbishment was explored soon after in Prime Resi’s Spring edition.

Our use of virtual reality (VR) technology populated media headlines such as The Times and Telegraph Luxury, emerging as a powerful tool in the real estate industry. 1508-london-in-the-media-8

Making its first media appearances in June with a sneak preview in City A.M. this penthouse apartment continued to capture property news headlines featuring in Country & Town House and being titled ‘Property of the month’ in Oracle.

Designed and Christie’s International Real Estate magazines focused on our unique approach to design as projects both past and present continued to capture media attention.

Across seas Project Pearl continued to inspire, featuring in Taiwan’s leading design magazine, Mansion, before appearing in luxury lifestyle magazine The Resident and Beyond Bespoke as one of 25 inspiring British Interiors. Meanwhile, Elle Décor Italy coveted our Bosphorus interiors with a great article on Project Esra in September.

After being announced as Decorex International 2016’s Champagne Bar designers in May our awaited collaboration caught both on and offline attention. Our vision for this year’s design, ‘Deconstructing Classicism’ featured in a variety of trade publications, including Hospitality Interiors, Editor at Large and Bridge for Design.

More recently, our designs for The Lanesborough Spa have captured media attention ahead of its opening in 2017 whilst the team have experienced equal exposure. Our newly appointed Hospitality Director, Federico Toresi, made Mix Interiors The Hospitality 50 whilst Louise Wicksteed was recognised as an authority on Spa Design, featured in the 2017 edition of The Interior Design Yearbook.

From art and residential interiors to hospitality and design, as the media discovers our latest projects, we reflect on a busy year at the 1508 Studio and look forward to another one in 2017.
