In consideration of and reference to the heritage its surroundings, the interior scheme is both exciting and dynamic yet one that responds to the buildings unique architectural envelope and historical location in the heart of Westminster. Continuing the classic proportions of panelling detail into the informal reception, the timber panelling has become richer to create an intimate and relaxing room. The detail is subtle and dynamic here and the materiality takes on a cleaner palette. With emphasis placed on function and usability the counter wraps the perimeter of the space and storage runs full height where the ceiling has been dropped in the core of the layout.
