Sloane Square Pied-A-Terre

Chelsea, London

The redesign of The Draycott reflects a period of transition and offers the opportunity to reinterpret classical styles to create a bespoke, beautiful and functional property. Layering a period inspired envelope, with clean contemporary forms, beautifully crafted detailing and rich materiality will create a timeless property of character. The language of the hardscape is developed by exploring form, order, proportion and scale, simple geometric forms and framework. The Dutch influence is carried through to the panelling language. The hierarchy of spaces is reflected in the complexity of the wall panelling, cornice and ceilings with interlocking square motifs typical of the ceiling decoration.
